PRIVATE MEDIA GROUP'S BIG BUDGET BLOCKBUSTER 'BILLIONAIRE' TRIUMPHS AT THE AVN AWARDS

BARCELONA, Spain, 12 January 2010, Private Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ GM: PRVT) a worldwide leader in premium quality adult entertainment content, announced that its two-part Blockbuster 'Billionaire' won Best Foreign Feature at this year’s AVN Awards.
'Billionaire', the follow up to Private's best-selling 'Millionaire' released in 2004, adds to the 5 awards that the blockbuster won at France’s Hot Video magazine Hot d’Or awards in October last year.
Director Alessandro del Mar said, “Once again it shows that not only the public but the industry recognizes how important it is to release premium quality, big budget, script led movies. The 'Millionaire' and 'Billionaire' fantasies have been huge successes both in terms of sales and industry recognition and I am very proud to have directed these blockbuster movies for Private.”
'Billionaire' was released on the Blu-Ray format this month.
Private stars Aletta Ocean and Toni Ribas both took the top Female and Male Foreign Performer of the Year awards, respectively. Aletta not only stars in 'Billionaire 2', but February 2010 sees the release of the 'Private Life of Aletta Ocean', a retrospective of her work for Private that includes an exclusive scene starring Ocean and Ribas together. Private expects this movie release to be a huge seller for February.
Private would also like to congratulate its content partner Bluebird Films, who took two awards: Best New Video Production Company and Best Foreign Director for Bluebird's Paul Chapman. Sasha Grey, star of Private's January release 'Cheating Hollywood Housewives', won two AVN Awards.
